VII Jerry Goldsmith Awards Winners!
MATHIEU ALVADO, JERRY GOLDSMITH AWARD WINNER FOR BEST COMPOSER!
French composer Mathieu Alvado (Agen, France, 1978), has won the VII Jerry Goldsmith Award for Best Composer, in recognition for his works in the Short-Live Action film L'attaque du monstre géant suceur de cerveaux de l'espace, and the Short-Animated film Who's Afraid of Mr. Greedy?.
It is the first time he has applied for the Jerry Goldsmith Awards and adds his name to the list of winners that follows:

Bienvenidos todos a esta nueva edición de los Premios Jerry Goldsmith 2012.
Los Premios Jerry Goldsmith nacieron como una modesta iniciativa que pretendía apoyar a los jóvenes creadores. Era por entonces una intención, pero poco a poco se ha ido convirtiendo en una realidad que ha quedado probada con la creciente participación de compositores de todo el mundo, hasta el punto que ha dejado de ser solo para jovenes e incluye ahora cualquier compositor que no haya obtenido un justo reconocimiento o proyección profesional.
En estos premios se ha hecho un importante esfuerzo por lograr los mejores beneficios posibles para los finalistas, hasta el punto de que su máxima es "en los premios Jerry Goldsmith, aunque pierdas, ganas".
Nosotros queremos y deseamos que todos los que estén sean ganadores.
Anímate a participar. El proceso de inscripción es realmente facil, y la proyección internacional que adquirirás si eres finalista es enorme. Una verdadera oportunidad de oro que no debes desaprovechar.

Welcome everyone to this new edition of the Jerry Goldsmith Awards.
The Jerry Goldsmith Awards were born as a modest initiative intended to support young composers. It was then an intention, but it has gradually turn into a reality that has been tested with the increasing participation of composers from around the world, to the extent that is no longer just for young and now includes any composer who has not has received the recognition or professional projection he deserves.
In these awards we have made a major effort to achieve the best possible benefits for the finalists, to the point where our catchword is "in the Jerry Goldsmith Awards, even if you lose, you win."
We want and hope that for all those who participate feel like winners.
We encourage you to participate. The registration process is really easy, and the international projection if you become finalist is enormous. A real golden opportunity you should not miss.
